10 members of Ao Udom Church trained in MM's "Knowing God Personally Series"

One of the surprises of the year 2011 is the unexpected reunion Tammy had with 2 dear friends from her childhood.  Pastor Andy and Belle McAdams have hired us on for Multiplication Ministries, as many of you know.  We are currently helping Ao Udom Church by providing discipleship materials, but also providing valuable suggestions on how to build up members of a church through one on one discipleship, and purposely and deliberately expressing the expectation that each person ought to have a strong foundation of their faith so that they can in turn pass it on. 
There's so much more to the process, and it's easier said than done.  These days you would want to have a way of measuring your progress, and defining your goals with measurable results.  In this case, we have chosen to focus on Multiplication Ministries "Knowing God Personally" Series, which is a 4 part series with 3 other mini-inserts that help build up a new believer.  Our goal was to have this translated in Thai language (which is quite tricky because they have their own alphabet).  We have accomplished this with the help of our friends in Bangkok, and after that was taken care of 3 months into this trip, we were able to move forward with the discipleship.

We typically like to teach one on one, however due to open doors to share the material with a group of people in an engineering factory on Fridays, we were able to reach more people.  The one on one format is very helpful, but now that we have a group of 10 people who are familiar with the program, multiplication of discipling and evangelism should be much easier on a personable basis.  Here are some pictures of our friends who God can use in the future to help along their family and friends know the truth in the Bible:
