Christian Club of Kasetsart University

We are currently discipling 8 university students from Kasetsaert University on Saturdays.  We are scheduled to finish teaching them Multiplication Ministries beginner's series in 2 weeks.  I'm really pleased with these guys.  They really pick up quickly, they understand, they are punctual, and they are really insightful.  We enjoy giving them opportunities to participate in the music, and learn how to share their own personal experiences with God in both Thai and English.  I think these guys are going to be a huge blessing for many of their friends and family as the years go by.  They do not go to Ao Udom Church regularly; they go to a different church.  But they are part of the Christian Club in K.U.

It's a testament to how faithful the Lord is.  We really wished to meet the Christian Club on campus, but heard that it's closed to the public, and also that the leadership of the club is not really looking to divide the club up amongst many churches, when most of them attend one particular one.  So Tammy and I really didn't pursue this goal fervently to respect the Club's guidelines and vision.  But often Tammy and I go to the campus and pray as we walk/excercise.  We specifically pray for the students and we pray for the unknown faces we had not met at the Christian Club...that they could be strong and be able to share the Good News with all the folks that don't know that according to God that they are headed on a road towards destruction, judgment, and shame if they don't receive God's solution to receive forgiveness from Him.

About a month ago, right around Christmas time, God sent several students from K.U. to learn English from us, and it was arranged that we would teach these christian students english through the context of teaching them the Bible/ Multiplication Ministries lessons.  These students turned out to be part of the Christian Club of K.U!  Please pray for these young men and women that they can grow stronger, and we can help them become "reproducing disciple-makers", so they can carry on the Great Commision to their own culture and to their generation.
