Tammy and I believe wholeheartedly that we are called to be together, not just as a couple in love, but a couple who is called to serve together. I know since I gave my life to the Lord that I have felt called to live in South East Asia. The Lord confirms this year after year. I'm all in at this point, but at the request of many Christian pastors/ leaders, it is best to take small steps.
We are intent on taking 6 months of our life this year, and volunteering to help with outreaches to the Thai in the context of building home studies. We are praying that Rose Martinez (who runs several orphanages in Thailand) will be able to sell her son in law ( a pastor) to welcome us in near Pattaya Beach to help with their efforts to plant home churches.
If this is not where the Lord has us, we will pursue other opportunities near the Bangkok area.
Would you please pray that our vision to live in thailand in 2010 becomes more clear in the upcoming weeks, and if it is the Lord's will that we help Rose Martinez's son in law near Pattaya, that this door opens in the near future.
