We made it to Philippines safely. Enjoyed a great time on the plane. I got to meet a mechanical engineer who lives in the land my mom is from (Pampanga). We shared non stop for 3 1/2 hours. He enjoys studying the bible, and has many experiences of God helping him. Doctrinally he was confused on how it all worked, so hopefully the scriptures i shared with him helps him out. It's often a stumbling block to explain what feels like a blessing as an experience with unbiblical philosophy completely contrary to God's Word. But it was great to see a catholic guy who really had a heart for Jesus and who was eager to read the Bible and learn from it.
We met up with my old friend Victor and his wife Frances. They treated us to a filipino dinner after they picked us up at the airport. We were stuck in traffic for many hours; tis the season. We are staying in their beautiful home tonight. God bless them; they let us stay in their master bedroom for the night. We are so grateful.
Tomorrow we head to Pampanga with our cousin Luz.
