Congrats to Gift and Ed on their Marriage!

Tammy and I had a great time celebrating our friends in Bangkok who got married together this saturday!!!!  Love those guys.  What a fun wedding!

It's funny because not knowing that there'd be a lunar eclipse in the skies later on in the night.  My prayer for those guys would be that there'd be some special touch by God to show them He is there, He's in the middle of this marriage...something memorable.  The ceremony and reception were really meaningful and God was glorified through it all.   That was the main thing.  Their lives were glorifying and the way the Lord blessed these guys when they turned to follow Him over the last 3 years is evidence enough that He does what He says He will do.

By the way, I specifically was hoping and praying to see a sign in the skies that was meaningful for them.  The lunar eclipse was so cool.  The moon turned red.  Though a differenty dynamic that happened when the sun was covered and darkened when Jesus died on Passover April 3, 33 AD, the moon did turn blood red due to the refraction of light as the Earth, Moon, and Sun were in alignment at the very moment Jesus died.  That saturday night the blood turned really red again.  This time the sun was behind us and the moon in display.  The earth was aligned in the middle of the sun and moon at that moment.  How about that for an incredible sign?!!!!
By the way, marriage is so much better when the husband and wife's lives  revolve around something greater...just as the earth and moon are both in orbit around the Sun.  Just as the moon influences the earth like the tides of the ocean, but it is the Earth's gravitation which keeps the moon in orbit, so it is with marriage..  God's word encourages a godly man whom the godly woman can build her life around, and whom she may influence, but whom she is, by God's order, submitted to.
By the way, Tammy was the one who brought up the scripture regarding the matter tonight, which triggered my thought process regarding that order which God instituted.
