We have received news that we may be able to have our discipleship translated in Cambodian language, which is great news! This has been a desire I've had, but had not yet found someone who had the time, ability, desire, and spiritual maturity to do it. Our friends Wittaya and Mam, who worked for Mercy Ministries Happy Home, recently expressed interest in trying it out. The discipleship material is a valuable tool, and many times over the year I had wished it were already available to share. We have friends in Mahachai, Thailand who are reaching out to Cambodian nationals who are currently residing in there as factory workers. If my count is correct, there should be more than 25 Cambodian nationals who have recently given their lives to follow Christ, through Greater Grace Church's ministry. Closer to Ao Udom/Bowin, we're interested in having some tools ready for Mary and perhaps others in the SEIL factory who are visiting from Cambodia, on contract. This is not to mention staff at Mercy Ministries Cambodia, who might be interested in the discipleship material, as well.
Please pray for the success of this translation endeavor. I praise God because it's been something on our mind to have accomplished while we are here.
Please pray for Mum and Wittaya, as they recently left the Happy Home for Mercy Ministries Foundation, and Wittaya (the husband) is studying for his degree at seminary college. They are a young couple, and parents of a young infant daughter.
Would you continue to pray for us, and for God's favor as there may be many opportunities to share MM's consultation with the various churches here in Mae Sai before we head back in about 1 month to Ao Udom/Bangkok.
In almost a 180 degree roundabout, please continue to pray for us as we are looking for work in the USA online. Our intention is to work in the mission field until the Lord opens the door back to the states, which we would assume could be 2months to 1 year away. We really don't know. The scriptures say: The horse is made ready for the day of battle, but victory rests with the LORD.- Proverbs 21:31
So we are trusting the Lord, because His call on our lives brought us here for this season, and He has the Sovereignty to bring us back in His perfect timing. I'm at peace with this because the plan after seeking the Lord for many many years was to serve here 2-3 years, and figure out what God was putting on our hearts at that point.
In the mean time, please dont forget to pray for us?
God bless,
Alex and Tammy
