Thanksgiving Party

Every year we've been here, we've thrown a Thanksgiving Party to bless the local church for a night of feasting and giving thanks to God.  We invite non believers too and share with them how the Lord blessed our lives throughout the year.  The testimony of God'faithfulness is a wonderful way of boasting about the true God who sent His Son for us. 

This year we threw a party at the small local church at Lat Prao 87.  This church is currently small, but we believe it is about to do great things.  They are active in the community and the young pastor Wee and his wife Nan are such a loving, Godly couple.  We were really blessed to have them open their church and invite some unbelievers to the party.  We were also blessed by Pastor Sinchai of the home church network come by with his dear friends Pong and Lucy.  Some of our friends from the language school came too.  Thank God for our brother Sakchai.  He came to translate for all of our guest who could not otherwise understand.  As always, we shared the Gospel and planted more seeds with the community. 

This young man from BHC, Teety, currently is praying about starting a church group at the university.  He had several questions about a prayer intercession / spiritual counseling / and deliverance ministry.  We were happy to spend some time answering his questions and encouraging him.  We had a copy of Neil Anderson's Bondage Breaker / Freedom In Christ translated into Thai. 
Teety is fortunate to have a couple mentors in his life, and he's being discipled by Pastor Sinchai and his old youth group leader, Juice.
