Saturday outreach to thai, burmese, and mong

We were in Mahachai, south of Bangkok, where Ryan and Jar are ministering for Greater Grace.  They are doing a church plant there, doing outreach and home biblestudy.

It was a lot of funny for Tammy and I.  We both love evangelism.  Tammy got to share many many times, and the local people really are very interested in what she has to say.  It's hard for them to believe that such a kind, lovely person could have been a monster before she knew the Lord.  It is a testimony to the power of the Lord, and the power of the Gospel.  For the thai, though, they do not believe they are bad people (relatively speaking) that they should need the Lord.  but Romans 3:23 and Isiaiah 64 should e enough to crush anyone's idea that they are good enough by their own self to be worthy of God's Kingdom.  No one is righteous, in God's eyes.  That's why He sent Jesus, His Son, to rectify the problem, to take the curse that the disobedience to God's perfect law would normally placed on you.  How's that for earning God's love?  He made it so easy so that if you BELIEVE He loved you that much, and you ask to receive this free gift, then you will be saved.  Turn from your ways, turn to Jesus, and He will forgive you, and renew you by His Spirit who will guide you in truth....It's actually the most exciting thing any human can experience, knowing the true God and having Him orchestrate things in your life.  You'd have to be pretty hard headed and hard hearted to live your entire life running away from that opportunity. 
We had a handful of divine appointments that God orchestrated. Ryan shared with an old man, and shed incredible light on his question.  The old man said he heard about Jesus, but coulnt't believe that one man could do such a thing, to take the curse meant for the whole world...but Ryan told him that if God can supply the whole world with air to breathe, why couldn't God supply His own Son who was One with the Father during Creation, to supply the whole world with a way out of its judgment?  I thought that was cool.  Later on they saw the older man go bug his neighbor for a Bible, and we found him reading it later on!  That's great.
Another divine appointment came when an older lady asked for prayer for her messed up leg.  The Gospel was shared, and she received it, and asked Jesus to be the Lord of her life.  Another highlight was when I shared with a young teenage boy who was very attentive and receptive.  We prayed together, and later he told us that his grandma recently decided to go to christian church (she was buddhist), and since going, all her diseases have left her!  That's our God!

Later we fellowshipped with some students, and Tammy made everyone laugh and she later shared her very amazing story about what God did in her life.  The girls had their eyes wide open and I know it encouraged them.
