Our friends Krang and San from Burma came to visit us in Ao Udom

Had a great day visiting with our friends Krang and San! They just got married a few months ago and now are enjoying a belated honeymoon tour... They took a break from all the site seeing and came to Ao Udom to catch up with us. Krang and... San are graduates from seminary school and have helped us so much with the translation work we are involved with for the region.. They are a really neat couple with interesting backgrounds and history... Thank God we can get together today!

Krang has played a big part in helping us secure translation help for 4 languages!  We met through a mutual friend who is pastoring Burmese church in Thailand.    Krang and San both will be helping us with MM's 9 week discipleship Blue Book.  There are many applications for this translation because many of our friends in our network help Burmese Christians who are living in Thailand.  We are eagerly anticipating this next work to be completed, so we can offer these valuable tools to our friends ministering to the Burmese who are coming to the Lord in Bangkok, and in the west and northern parts of Thailand.

Both are part of the Kachin tribe, who are considered a displaced people group by the Burmese government.  There is heavy persecution in their land, located in the northern part of Burma, close to China.  War breaks out, and the Kachin who are a small group who love Christ, have seen many miracles as God protects them.  Their land is coveted by the Burmese Gov't and the Chinese, because of its rich resources..  Please pray for Krang, San, and their families.  They wish for peace and justice in their land.  Burma is in the process of becoming more open, and are under international pressure to cease the oppression of the displaced peoples.

Krang graduating with his Master of Divinity in 2013.
