Our friend Denny Mathews and his wife Shanti run a non-profit foundation which ministers to the poor and destitute people living in the slums of Banglore, India. Their family has lived in Thailand for more than 7 years and have ministered in 2 main areas. They were home group leaders at Evangelical Church of Bangkok for many years.
Shanti and the children are currently in Banglore India, where they run a learning institute which provides life skills for the less fortunate. They preach the Gospel in both word and deed. Shanti, comes from a family who had started more than 200 churches throughout India and abroad! Wow!
Currently they make their church home at All People's Church.
Denny is living here in Ao Udom working as a logistic manager, assigned by his company. It is a difficult time apart from family, so please pray for them. Denny has been a blessing to Ao Udom church in several different ways.
We have a plan to help one another....Shanti's booklet about spiritual oppression and depression and breaking through the darkness will be translated by our friends in Bangkok, which we hope to be a great resource for the church in Thailand..... We are also planning on having Multiplication Ministries material translated into one of the several Indian languages spoken in their current region. We hope that ultimately we can help the Mathews' foundation make reproducing disciples in their Learning Center.
Welcome to our website. This blog will introduce you to Multiplication Ministries mission to Southeast Asia. Alex Anit is Regional Director for Multiplication Ministries. Our ministry has helped various organizations and individuals for the past four years. We are currently focusing efforts in discipleship of the refugee community in and around Thailand. .......
