I donated some of the posters on End Times to Sandon. He like them a lot and was very grateful. I know he will use them a lot.
We were hoping to meet an artist while waiting around here, but she never called us, which is a big bummer for me. But it's all in God's hands. I'm sure when the right time comes we will meet her. It's a pity, as she is the niece of our dear friend Paisan. She also knows the royal family, so that's an extra bummer because it would have been so cool to get to share the Gospel with her.
We met up with a friend, Peter, who grew up with me. He is one year older and a grade higher, but we know the same people and it's great to talk with him. He's living in Bangkok and is an international businessman working with wireless networks. We got to share the Good News with him, and he was fired up and excited about the prospect of knowing the Lord more. He is devout, and is a decendent of an archbishop. He used to go to the same church where I was baptised as an infant (catholic). Now Tammy and I told him of greater things than the religious stuff he was raised up on. We also introduced him to some people who can teach him in Bangkok. They talked on the phone and prayed for one another. Please pray for both his dad and his grandmom. They are both very sick, and he's been hoping to receive miracles from God to extend their lives...When he heard our stories he was so excited knowing miracles can happen and still do happen.... So we had Boonchiow call him, because his prayers seem to be so effective when it comes to illness.
We then met up with an islamic man we met in cambodia, who is orginally from Mali in Africa. We had a great time bowling and playing billiards. He's so serious in his pictures, but he was all smiles otherwise. We shared some stories with him too, and he shook his head and said that has to be GOD! But he knows well that we are Christian.
So tomorrow we'll say good bye to some other dear friends we've met along the way from Greater Grace and also from the US Embassy (Sakchai). Then we'll head off to Ao Udom. Our friend Sonn is getting married, and we'll have an opportunity to witness this on Thursday. Pray for her and her husband who is not christian, and who had left her many months ago.
God bless!
