Sunday

Went to church and received prayer from the big church in Chiang Rai.  We were there and met Rose Martinez, who runs the orphanages throuhout asia, and she brought our 14 year old girl who Tammy has sponsored for 2+ years.  Pastor Tae and Rose's daughter Fang (who was an orphan who Rose took under her wing) were there and we enjoyed this special time.

We went to the orphange and spent 3 hours catching up with Prapee showing her pictures and telling her all the things God has done in our lives since I last saw her 2 years ago.  She loved the time and could see the joy as we struggled through speaking in thai, but she understood.  I realize we learned a lot of thai language, enough to tell many stories.  Prapee was amazed and her response we pray will be a desire in her heart to know the Lord even more.  Tammy had never met her til now.  She was so happy that Prappee had saved all the pictures Tammy sent her.  We got some small gifts that went along way for Prappee.

We played basketball games and showed some of the kids some of their pictures that I took of them 2 years ago.

Then Cristina, Pedro, and Elisha came over to enjoy the "college night" as we ate at Rose's home.  Her kids grow up, go to college, and some of them come back and serve the Lord and join her orphanage.

Praise God for her ministry.

Going back to Bangkok tomorrow at 1:30 pm.  Pray for a strong finish to our final week.  We could not meet up with the water project engineer who wanted me to see him in Chiang Mai.  Too little time, as he won't be up here til Feb 5.

Here's Prappee receiving a small gift from Tammy and I for a belated Christmas
Tammy and I shared a lot of pictures with Prappee with many pictures.
Prappee has grown so much in 2 years!
These kids were enjoying pictures I had from the place 2 years ago
I got the kids to play basketball 3 vs 3

It was special when we passed the ball to Prappee and our team one when she scored the game winning basket!
