Spent more time with Tae and Fang's family...We hiked 2km up a steep hill to find a beautiful waterfall.
Please pray for Pastor Tae as he prepares to return to Ao Udom.  He's been a bit tired and discouraged.  Pray for his leadership and joy to return to him after the long labors.  Please also pray for Fang's brother in law, Francis, to return back to being someone of faith. He is mistaken when he thinks of church as a place meant mainly for good deeds.  It's like a program for him, not a relationship.  Works just happen, but they stem from intimacy with God, and a response, not a prerequisite.  I asked him if he knew what the Lord was saying about being born again of the Spirit, and asked him if despite all the singing in the choir and the religious "duties" he did, did he ever feel as if he was a child of God and if he ever felt secure he would be with the Lord after death.  He said no.  Then I informed him then he is not yet born of the spirit, because scripture testifies that the Holy Spirit is the guarantee of our faith, who testifies that we are His children.  So he had a lot to think about.  Anyways, would you please pray for him?

I was disappointed when I found out the water engineer is not going to make it up here in time before we head back.  I was hoping to fit that into our schedule somehow, but it's cutting it too close.

Today we're just relaxing and hopefully later we can swing by the orphanage either tomorrow or saturday.  Chinese New Year is coming in early Feb so people are busy with their preparations.  Christina, Pedro, and Elisha are out in a meeting for 2 more days, so we are just enjoying their home here.
