Had a good time with Tae and Fang. They were really hoping that Tammy and I could make an impact in the lives of their extended family. I spent a lot of time with Fang's sister's husband, Frances. Please pray for him. He had a lot of good questions and a lot of candid thoughts where he regretted he walked away and dropped out of his faith at some point after seeing internal strife in the churches. All the poliics that can happen. He seemed to be feeding me questions on a lot of things that I'm actually well read up on and informed on, so it was good. He made it out to be so hard to follow the Lord, but hopefully he walked away today realizing it's a joy, not a burden. Poor guy. Probably some church leaders make it so hard.
Tammy shared a lot with Tae's older sister who said she wasn't ready to follow the Lord yet because she was afraid of what might happen to her when her husband found out. Tammy shared to Tae's niece as well, who just graduated with an engineering degree in Chiang Mai University. Tammy also said a lot to Fang's brother in law, as well.
We went to some creepy white temple with plenty of demons and tormented figures sculpted in the background.
We also rode the elephants, and Tammy had a blast.
We also saw the amazing golden clock tower that lit up and changed colors to the music at the strike of 7 pm. A bunch of birds or bats started flying toward the tower right at 7pm, it was weird.
