it's on

had a strange day.
God news that our visa paperwork was lost by the agency, and I had to fax/forward more copies back to the office.  The hassle kept me from going to the manufacturing factory with Pastor Tae to disciple a korean gentleman.
The 10 year old son of the lady who Tammy's been helping this past week and making friends with at crochet came to the house and tried to pick his way into our home through the patio room from our upstairs deck.  I opened the curtain and asked him "what are you trying to do?", and he ran away.  Anyways he came back and I had a chat with him not to come up here and don't fiddle with our door.  He tried to explain he just wanted to play ball and was looking for us.  Whatever.  At any rate for the sake of not creating a wall between the church and the mother, Fang will speak directly with the kid next time, and if something bad happens again, the church will speak with his mother.

One of the young men from the Q restaurant nearly had a fatal accident on his motorcycle when a drunk man on another motorcycle sped thru the intersection taking a left turn.  If Bank didn't have a helmet on, he would have surely died.  Thank God above that he suffered some scrapes only, but no broken bones.  His helmet was ruined though.   We had just spent the night prior with a really good conversation where he was an open heart hearing the Word of God.  Tonight we explained further why he ought to be thankful to God and talked for more than an hour with him and the other friends from the Q.  Please pray for Bank specifically.  These kind of misfortunes seem all too characteristic when people are getting closer and closer to making a decision to follow the Lord.  If you track this blog, you will see a trend in this.   Is this just life?  I don't think so.  Thanks for your continual prayers.
God bless,
Alex and Tammy
