Boonchiow came from several km away just to be with us again. He had hoped to visit Mark in Pattaya, but it wasn't to be. But we met another guy named Denny who is here in thailand for work. He has a family in India, and misses them dearly. He's been here for 2 weeks already. He saw us on the internet in a site that is English, and came. You know that encourages me because I helped with the English portion of the site, which we believe he was browsing before coming. He was very happy to meet us, and wants to see us even on Tuesdays when we meet in the home cell groups. That was an encouragement to me to see fruit to efforts I personally was involved with.We went to have coffee with Boon and brought along the young man we are discipling named "Kame". Boon always has alot of stories, and he helped Kame alot. Later I treated Kame to a nice dinner after we saw he did very well in his college grades this semester. Please pray for Kame as he's been having nightmares and he's having a hard time not being affected by his living situation as his family is trying to help a family who is suffering from the flood. He can't get a whole lot of sleep, and it can be difficult to be loving when there's a lot of people in the house and your "flesh" makes you want to be irritable and annoyed.

We discipled Kame, Sonn, and a mother and daughter (Nu and NamYen) in how to have a quiet time with God. We read 2Timothy 3:16-17 and taught that we need to ask God to show us by opening our eyes to His Word, and then EXPECT for Him to show us something God wants us to KNOW, and/or STOP doing/thinking, and/or CHANGE in our life/attitude/wrong beliefs, and/or DO. Kame really loved it and tried to do it by reading until a verse hit him. We taught him to write it down, and to keep it in a journal and write WHY did that verse hit him, what did he need to KNOW, STOP, CHANGE, or DO. How to mediate on the verse by keeping a copy of it on a piece of paper in your pocket throughout the day and thinking about it throughout the day, and then to end your night by reviewing it.
Kame really loved it, and said he will do it. He liked that it's an adventure, like going to the forest and not knowing exactly what would he find there. I was happy for him.
Tammy is healthier now. Her appetite is back and she can walk without feeling dizzy or tired so much. I hope to go on our daily walk again soon, maybe tomorrow Lord willing.
Thank you for praying for us!
