Had a good 3 hour meeting with Pastor Thirapong Wandee of Immanuel Church in Mae Sae. We provided a consultation with practical advice and tools that will surely help equip his church. Pastor Thirapong has a vast experience that helps him, and was familiar with many strategies for growth, but is really in need of workers in the area to help him. We believe MM's strategy for one on one discipleship will bear much fruit over the next several months. Please keep him and his leadership in your prayers.
We provided MM's Getting to Know God Personally. Pastor would like to have us return for a possible training conference for local leaders. He is the chairman for 8 churches within the area. He wants to implement the training with his own church. Our dear friend Cristina has already shared a few lessons with them over the past 2 months.

Earlier in the morning we spent quality time with Cristina and her mother. They are planning many ministries here in the north through YWAM and other independent ventures. Please keep a lot of prayer for Cristina, too, as she makes strategic decisions over the next months.

We met an interesting man, friend of Cristina, named Lee. He is heading up a ministry which involves deliverance for those who are demonically oppressed by the false religion here in Thailand. He has a lot of stories of people who have suffered from bad worries, bad diseases, and bad habits that could never be cured from their illness, but after they choose by their own volition to follow the Lord and obey, many miraculous answers to prayer have happened in his ministry. He claims some of the more famous pastors have asked him to conduct trainings in Bangkok over the next month. I remember seeing that horrific movie The Exorcist as a young man 30 years ago. Ajan Lee deals with matters similar to these, but in a biblical manner.
