Tuesday

Today we spent some quality time with Fang and Boiy.  Joking around.  Talking about the plan for the month.  I FINALLY was able to get the posters submitted, the people at the poster shop kept making me adjust the graphics.  We'll have this ready for thursday.  We'll take it down to bangkok afterwards to share with Greater Grace on one of their outreaches.
We met up with a gentleman that would like to start a water store.  We met him and his wife and 2 kids.  Tae and Fang hit it off with them.  Tammy taught them a bit of english.  I shared some information of water technology to him, and then told him some stories of the Gospel.  He had several questions, and was amazed.  He wanted to know how many days/years did it take for Tammy to change once she decided to be Christian.  She said it took 29 years for her. I clarified to him that it takes 1 day, an instant for God to change everything, but from that day forward God continues to shape us until we die.  It took Tammy 29 years to figure out she hated her life to the point she wanted to lose her life for God, then she gained everything.

John 12:24-26 (New King James Version)

24 Most assuredly, I say to you, unless a grain of wheat falls into the ground and dies, it remains alone; but if it dies, it produces much grain. 25 He who loves his life will lose it, and he who hates his life in this world will keep it for eternal life. 26 If anyone serves Me, let him follow Me; and where I am, there My servant will be also. If anyone serves Me, him My Father will honor

A person who goes to church and wears a cross on their chest can live in total defeat for the entirety of their lives, and sadly too many do.  There's not only power in the Gospel to save, but the truth sets you free.  But the truth is often not pursued, often not appropriated.  Jesus said the truth shall set you free, and who the Son sets free is free indeed.  Jesus says if you want to know where His teaching is from, then DO it!  That's where the transformation happens, when you allow the Lord to be put on the throne of your life.

Later on we went back home and saw that Pastor Tae already has moved the water over from the place across the street to the patio here (he asked if he can do that as the place across the street he rents is being sold).  The place kind of looks ugly, which sucks, because we really wanted to take advantage of the space, and the patio is exposed to the sun/rain.  But really Tae is right when he mentioned the best way is to go out, and not necessarily use a passive approach for cofee shop etc.

Tomorrow is Pastor Tae's birthday, so we will all be together having fun.  He wants to go with us to the university tomorrow, and then we'll all get together with Fang and the church family to celebrate!

God bless, and thank you for praying.

Alex
