Had another good day, and wanted to ask you for some serious prayer for some friends of ours.

We enjoyed spending a couple hours at the Q, where we met up with our friends again.  They are eager to get the Christian Documentary on Rock Music.  This is a great sign they are open for hearing more on Christ.  We lent them the disc, and so please pray for them to receive the Gospel message that is in the DVD.  The guys are Q, Bank, Tan, and Fa.

Tammy baby sat today and enjoyed several hours making the kids laugh, praise God she wasn't lonely or bored.  I went to another city in the evening to disciple Kame.   We shared on the Holy Spirit's ministry to lead and empower you to live the Christian life, and on the need to submit to His authority.  He never heard the scriptures shown to him and he was delighted he came to understand it fully.  Please pray for Kame because he confesses he needs help to submit, as he as always enjoyed total freedom in his household.  His parents let him do whatever he wants to do, and he likes things that way.  Please pray that the heart changes to want what God wants in His life, and to learn to follow what the Lord leads him to do.  It's a hard thing to learn, submission and surrendering some of the old ways that dictated the way we lived life before coming to the Lord.  Please pray for him a lot this week to put those things he learned today into action....especially asking the Holy Spirit to lead him and teach him and give him understanding as he reads the Bible.   I told him I wanted many others in America praying for him regarding this, if he wants.  He said that is good, and so this is why I sent you a special request on his behalf.

Our friend Suchia from the restaurant, who we led to the Lord last year, is having a hard time with her 2 sons.  She would love for you to pray for her and those 2 sons who are currently serving time in prison for drug use/sales.  She has decided not to pay the bail for her son Bank who was incarcerated 2 days ago.  She is trusting God will change their hearts, but really wants a lot of prayer for them. It's hard for her to refuse the bail.  Please pray for strength and wisdom for her, and for God to really turn the young men's hearts because they are very stubborn, weak (to drug addiction), and lost (they are buddhist and have no desire to know Jesus at this moment).  Suchia told me that her son said that he can turn to Christ later, and cites that Suchia didn't become Christian til last year, and he thinks he can do it later!

Tomorrow is a BIG day for us because I'll be at the water store helping set things up in the new building and Tae will need to learn a lot from the builder.  Tammy is going to start the English classes tomorrow, and I won't be around to help, nor anyone else.  So please pray for her to be effective at communicating with some locals who do not speak a lot of English.  Please also pray for her because she's going to be alone without anyone to help or keep her company.  She doesn't like not having me a stone throw away, and the store is 20 minutes away using a car.

Lastly, praise God for help with a new guitar.  I couldnt bring my own over here, else it would have cost a lot for the extra baggage, especially for the round trip.  My dear sister Carlin and her husband Paul donated $50 towards one I purchased for $60.  Praise God because I had intended to get one anyways so I can be part of the youth's new guitar lesson ministry.   I also wanted one so I can worship the Lord in my room by song.  Carlin asked me about whether I play guitar here in thailand, and I said I didn't really.  I didn't have a desire to be on the worship band, like last year, because many men have stepped up and are doing a great job serving in that this year.  But it was funny she brought it up because I was going to buy a guitar this week.  She heard of it, and decided she wanted to donate towards that.  Praise God!
