Tammy sweeping up the dust
Put in a service day, cleaning and scrubbing the water store facility.  It's surprising how a builder can leave the place a mess without dolling the place up before the keys are handed over.
At any rate, it is a great feeling for us to see how God provided for this building through the generosity of folks all over the world, mainly friends and family.  There's a lot of work to do from a logistics standpoint, but Pastor Tae is confident that the Water Store will be a blessing.  Already two employees who worked on the building came to church and decided to ask Jesus to be their Lord and Savior.

Sak has such a servant's heart.  It's hard to find a harder work than he.
The mother of the wife of Nuey has decided to give her life to the Lord too, this week.  This is the lady that heard the gospel from us at a home cell last Wednesday.  Praise God for that!  But the Enemy of God is always attacking the children of God.  Yesterday, Nuey had a terrible accident and suffered a concussion to the head, and was left unconscious for a period.  The doctor scanned for damage, and thank God he will be ok.  Last week I addressed a question his mother in law had regarding what we call as "spiritual warfare".  The devil does not like when someone gives their life to the Lord, so he tries to discourage those who make a decision to follow the Lord....

Tammy and our friend who we led to the Lord last year
We also ran into our friend "Boiy", who we led to the Lord last year.  He has moved away far from the church, and like most students, very into their studies.  Please pray that we can meet soon and start going over the MM discipleship.  (Boiy had been discipled for some part of the year last year by Pastor Tae and Nuey).  I recall the week after Boiy prayed to receive Jesus as his personal Lord and Savior at our small ice cream shop in front of the house, the owner of the shop said her husband cheated on her and she is deciding to close the ice cream shop.  Within that very same week, our friends who run the other main hang out we stayed at to share the Gospel with friends, told us that the owners of the building raised the rent beyond what they can pay, and they too were closing.  It was a heart breaking sequence of events for us.  Within that month Boiy's landlord made some decision that had Boiy move away.  These kinds of things happen in life, but it happened nearly all at once, and inhibited our ability to perform our ministry to university students.

This is why we really say with all seriousness that we need folks who will help us by faithfully praying for us and the people we minister to.

God bless,
Alex and Tammy
