Friday

I finally finished going through all 8 units (11 lessons each) of The Rosetta Stone software for Thai Language!  Hurray!  I've made all the notes, now I can go back and teach Tammy as best as I can.  (She is at Unit 5).

We celebrated a special day in history, a national holiday of sorts.  just kidding.  We had a great time kicking off the weekend.  Tammy had a surprise for me in the evening dinner with cake.  The whole day people just wanted to give us free food.   I had a great time, and was so appreciative of the time together.
We had fun playing games and talking about what kids think about growing up to be my age right now.  It was fun asking what were people doing in their life (if they were older than I was) at my current age.    Later we played Jenga, guys versus girls.  The girls won the first time, but the guys won the next time.

Now we are going to be headed into Bangkok.  Tammy will be teaching!  Exciting.  I'm excited for her.  She's worked hard at preparing herself and the accessories for the lesson from "Get the Picture", an overview of the Bible using a chart for history.  The chart does an extra-ordinary  job of illustrating how throughout history God was setting the stage for the Cross and the Resurrection and Redemption of Mankind thru Jesus.
