This is us celebrating Wa's bday (in white/front center)
Sorry we haven't had an update lately. It's been a lot of seed planting so to speak, and daily activities at the Levi Factory and English Learning Center. We've celebrated some birthdays and made some friends along the way. Tammy's friend, Wa, from the university who she's discipling unfortunately lost her father recently and has been mourning. Please pray for her. She just had her 21st bday the week prior, and this happened.

This is "M" who helps Pastor Tae
Pastor Tae has a young man named "M" who is working to help distribute water. I've been teaching him how to operate the equipment. I also have discipled him in one of the 4 lessons from our Multiplication Ministries material.

The gentleman in red became a believer in Christ that day!
Tammy has been sharing a lot with her new friends from the Learning Center. Tammy came to help the lady who does house cleaning in the neighborhood. She saw that this lady named Na was so sad doing the work for the house next door, which was left a mess after someone moved out. Na was surprised that Tammy the "foreigner" would have a heart to help her clean that mess up and cheer her up on a miserable day! So Tammy made a new friend, and asked for no money. Na likes Tammy and took her out to learn how to crochet. Tammy always wanted to know how to do that! Tammy shared her testimony in Thai language to Na, who was very surprised and interested in the story of God's redemption for Tammy's life!

We continue to have good relationships with the people here. It just is taking a long time to see how God is going to move in their lives to the point where it matters eternally. I suppose we may never see it when it happens. This is not to say it wont. There are many people who are giving their lives to the Lord through Ao Udom church, praise God. But the folks Tammy and I are personally pouring a lot of time and prayer into aren't really there yet. I find myself thinking there's definitely something missing and holding them back. It's disappointing because we see more amazing things happen in America than are happening here right now in front of us. But we're just being faithful. The water store and the english center are definitely things that are blessing people, albeit seems mundane.

Tammy enjoying her new skill: crochet!
Please pray for more customers for the water store, more funds and donations to come in to cover some of the costs we need for safety equipment, quality measurement tools, and check valves. Some extra costs. As always, please pray for our safety, and that the Gospel is preached effectively, and that nothing hinders the folks God has given us to disciple from pursuing this with the commitment that we have towards it. Pray specifically for Kame, Wa, "M", and Namyen... Pray for a breakthrough at the "Q" Restaurant and with our friend Mike and all his pals down the street. These are college kids that enjoy our friendship but really don't have a desire to come into the church yet.
