What's neat about it is tammy and i had been praying that tae and the ao udom church would do an outreach at the big pub in front of the church, called the Roof.. But it's going to take an increased amount of grace on our part to extend a hand out to folks at the pub, because this is a conservative church that asks for more sacrifices and doesn't want to necessarily have folks living in a carnal lifestyle to frequent the church without a desire on their part to change. But our old church, grace, always called the church a hospital... Another pastor once said, please come as you are, but please, don't leave the same. Such is the challenge of ministering and being relevant.
At any rate these guys are great in that they minister to many people lin bangkok. They are a great worship band. They were hired by a pub in bangkok. they reach out to even those who are struggling in homosexual lifestyles and to gogo dancers. God is using them mightily, and people can come in a non judging atmosphere where they are loved, and then they hear about the God that loved them so much that He sent His Only Son Jesus to die for them on the cross, and pay for their sins, only to be raised up again. They get to hear that message and how they can leave their lifestyle of sin and be given a new life, a new birth, and be transformed by the power of God's Spirit working in those who belong to Him. Amen! We'll see how it goes. God really changes lives, and delivers people out of what holds them captive...including homosexual lifestyles.
Our church plans to help the Moriah band with their efforts to reach the youth of Thailand.
God bless,
Alex
