Friday

This week we had some positive things happen.  Thank you for praying for us, because there has been some breakthrough.

I heard a message on the internet about how if you don't see God moving, then do something that will "move" God.  huh????  How can anyone be so bold to say something so arrogant???!!!  No, the meaning to that catch phrase for the sermon was meaning that if you don't see how the Lord is moving mightily near you and in your life, and it is your heart's desire to see and experience God's Sovereignty in a personal way, then maybe you should have more faith to go out and do something on faith that demonstrates your understanding of His promises and "move" His heart by your faith in Him.  Jesus marveled at the faith of the centaurian who understood that Jesus didn't have to physically go to where he was sick, so he sent a servant to ask Jesus just to say the word to be healed, and he knew that it would happen IF only Jesus gave the word.  This is one example of how great faith actually "moves" the heart of God.  "Move" as in touches the heart of God.  Just as a beautiful song may touch or move our hearts. 

So this week we went out with great expectancy and went with many pictures of our lives, the ones that point to Jesus.  God has brought us many people this week who speak English and whose hearts were ready to hear what we told them.  We shared scriptures in thai, and the people who read it not only want to read what we shared, but even more of the page.  We believe this is because God is doing something in their hearts to desire the truth.  The surrounding friends of those who speak English want to know what was said, and they share. 

Please pray for 4 key people who we're investing time with relationship. 
1.  Suchia  (she's christian now, but we want to help pray for her entire family who are having lots of problems, and do not yet know the Lord (other than her mom)

2.  Came  (young college student who we're discipling and is a great english speaker)
 3. Que   (a young man who has about 5 other friends/brothers who run a restaurant nearby.  We've started sharing the Lord with all of them and their many friends.
4.  Mike (our friend from the university who speaks great english and who has introduced us to all his friends.  last year he enjoyed coming over to the home often and spend many hours learning, but this year we haven't had time to connect as often as before).

Tammy's doing well.  She continues to study like never before.  Thai language, the English Language Certification, and the "Get the Picture" presentation of the Bible. 

The water purification system is closer to completion, and the builder believes we're a week away from installing it in the new building.  Praise God!

Please pray for Tae to have reliable helpers other than myself to get this big project underway the right way.  It will be a very very very bad thing if this project takes away from his main purpose of being a pastor.  But unfortunately some of the planned persons to help have bailed out for other opportunities.
