Thanks for praying for us. It was a very powerful day as we preached in the church on the End Times.
I don't fast often, but I did this time, depriving myself from eating for a day and a half, but wow, God really answered some prayer today.
Divine providence, as my friend said.
I had prayed that God orchestrate events that would bring the people who are to hear the message to our small church building, and it seemed like a packed house this week, with many new faces. God sent "3 wise men" to our church. It was a very pleasant surprise for Tae because he knew these men from International Bible Conference. He hadn't seen them in a long while. But they showed up after their plan to get to the mountains were blocked by elephants...they were forced to go down the mountain and look for shelter in this area.
It turns out the pastor/missionary of the group, called Tae. I was concerned for Fang, because it was hard to translate what I wanted to say, and I wanted a man to be my translater anyway. Boon, a missionary with an amazing life story, did the translation for us. Praise God about that.
We had also prayed for some people to accept Jesus today, and for God to give us special knowledge into the people so that the message would hit home harder. Suchia who we've been friends with for a while, who we pray for , and who is making baby steps toward faith, broke down in tears and the translater pastor, who is very gifted, led her into the salvation prayer today! Another tough kid with a chip on his shoulder was weeping and I believe he accepted Jesus, but I'm not sure. All I know his dad was laughing at him because he had tears, and was wiping them for him.
We had prayed for a miracle today, that God would bless the hands of the ones who like to pray for the sick, and that we would see a miracle. Pastor/Missionary Boon prayed for Suchia's elderly mom who is christian already, and her back was healed instantly!!!
I'm amazed because these 3 wise men are successful business men, and they make it a business/ministry to go and help church's with businesses that will help them make money. So when they heard about Pastor Tae's water biz, they came in to advise them on how to not mix church with business, and how to have integrity through all of that, and keep focused on people, not business. They are going to help financially, and help Tae make decision on how to run business. These guys are professional architects, engineers, and ministers. One guy has done major projects in America and Dubai. But the Lord called him to ministry, and now he helps others in Asia.
They told me they are currently looking into helping a church with a fish pond/shrimp pond. Another was looking to do water Reverse Osmosis. I was amazed because these are the 2 things I want to learn how to setup to make residual income through the years. I think we all can help one another. They invited us for a week long training by their international leadership convention in January. We'll see where that goes. I would have learned a lot, Lord willing, of the shrimp farming business by then in PI.
It's not contradicting knowing that all the prophecies are coming true in the Bible and point that we may be heading towards the time the Lord will make everything right, and bring an end to this chaos, but still be faithful and work and prepare and ask God how He can help us provide for our family. The scripture says that if you don't work, you don't eat.
