Today we cancelled our trip to Chiang Rai. We found out that there was no bus from Ao Udom straight to Chiang Rai, at least everyone's report conflilcted with the 1 person who said there was. Then we found out the Loy Kathrong ceremony, a site to see, was not Nov 14, but 21st....which conflicted with the earlier report we were given. The point: check your sources and dont necessarily trust the local.
We'll be up there in January with Pastor Tae anyways.
Our friends are coming down from Chiang Rai to see us, possibly, November 22nd or so.
Got a call from the water expert and he said he's definitely coming to the Pattaya seminar. Praise God! Tried to spend some time with a couple familiar faces and read some scripture to them today. We have a friend who was sick, the wife of elder whoot (teeyoung), so we went to visit her for a while at the hospital. Later we shared some stories with her sisters who are not yet christian.
