Today Tammy and I checked into the US Embassy to register our trip. I had done it online already, but I wanted to go thru the steps of physically presenting ourselves to the embassy for their record.
Before we went there, we had to wait an hour or so for the Embassy to open up its access from 1pm - 2pm. So we waited at the building nextdoor and studied some scriptures. It was a great time, as we read Ephesians 2. We left the building praising God for what He did for us.
We went to the US Embassy. Tammy saw a man with a messed up, bandaged leg. On our way out, Tammy asked if it would be okay to speak with him and ask him for prayer. We went over there and asked him what happened to his leg. He had a severely decayed leg due to a strange disease that hit him really badly, infecting his leg. He had pictures with him that he reluctantly shared. There was skin grafts to help him. He was at the embassy to help him financially to cover some costs. We asked him if he wanted prayer and he said please...he is a catholic/christian.
So we prayed for him, and asked Jesus to help him heal and get rid of the decaying and infection and for the skin to heal. Would you also join in prayer for him? His name is Steve. He is a man who teaches English. He says he is 80% healed, but has another 20% to go.
Thanks!
Mark 16 says that signs will follow for those who share the gospel, including having the sick healed.
My continual prayer later is that we can walk with greater faith. Later that day, I found out that I can't walk on water because I accidentally walked right into a pool in front of the Centerpointe hotel! Don't ask me why they place a stupid door that looks like an entry with a shallow water pool in front of it. I was set up!
