Wednesday

Today we had an amazing day.  It was a long day serving.
In the morning we met up with Soon and her mom.  her mom recently accepted Jesus.  Soon's dad recently fell into the hospital and could not move, but her mom decided to ask Jesus to help.  The husband got better instantly after the prayer to Jesus!!!!  Since then, the mom gave her life to Jesus.  Now Pastor Tae discipled her one on one for more than an hour.  We got to pray with her and also encourage her that it is so important to stay true to God's Word, and not to let her gift be what she trusts and cherishes, but the Gift Giver, is the One to be trusted.  She was a elder woman that was so hungry and open to the Word of God, it was refreshing to see!

We also met another new christian who was so hungry for the Word...she was 70+ years old!  Her eyes were wide open as Tae taught her.  That was great to see too.  Later she asked us if we would pray for her terrible headaches.  She confessed she had dabled in spirit worship, and had once a demon that would visit her.  We led her to a prayer for freedom, and taught her the authority she had in Jesus.  The prayer we led her with is from the famous christian counselor Neil Anderson, who has succeffully minsitered God's Word to many christians who have lived in spiritual bondage for years without enjoying victory and true freedom.  It was so cool to here this reserved thai woman shouting with fervency against the devil to get away in Jesus name!  She later told us she felt so good, and felt the Holy Spirit fill her as she prayed.  It was powerful!

Then Tae ministered to a young man who had back slidden, and we met a few people from the video store that were new christians.  The husband was not yet.  We spent time going over our thai software, and showing eachother's pictures.  I showed him that pic of me and tammy and the cloud that looked like a dove, and he was fascinated.

In the evening we had a good church plant fellowship time with several ladies, and young teens.  Tae and I led worship time.  We got to meet all the people.  Tae asked me and Tammy to share, and we shared a lot.  They were very moved, and the husband of the new christian lady (Dao), had many questions.  We put him on the spot and asked him if he wanted Jesus...He said he believes in Christ already, but he is honestly having a hard time because he don't want to give up alcohol yet, so what was the point if he was going to lie and end out just drinking afterwards?  he wasn't ready to change his life, but he is convinced what we were telling him was true about jesus.  Read John 3:16-21
But it was good, and Tae is a great pastor, has already setup an appointment for him to hang out with him to talk

God bless.. tomorrow we will have a meeting with Tae and talk about what God has put on our heart to share.
