We are in Thailand safely! Thanks for your prayers!

Tammy and I made it safely to the Furama Xclusive hotel in Bangkok.  It's past 1am here.  We are so tired!  A taxi took us to the hotel.

We had a 4 hour layover in Tokyo and witnessed to a Thai lady who had just spent 40 years in the USA.  She worked for the founders of the Marriot Hotel chain.  She is Buddhist.  I asked her some questions, the Holy Spirit started moving.  Tammy and I asked her if she knew about depression.  We asked her if she knew about suicidal tendencies, and she confessed she wanted to kill herself.  She said there was a time she had a gun to her head, but she saw a vision of Jesus stopping her.

She seemed tormented, even with rhematory arthritis.  She had heard of Jesus before from Mormons that she worked for.  She had contemplated diving in and being Christian, but right now she's trying to hold on to the religion of her culture.

So we spent many hour telling her the full gospel, and giving her a better idea of who Jesus is, and what the authority of God's Word (the Bible) establishes.  Other christians heard us witnessing and later told us they were praying.  But unfortunately Laksana did not yet choose to ask Jesus to become her personal Lord and Savior today....but I know she has a whole lot more knowledge now than she did before, and hopefully this knowledge will take root in her brain and heart.  She did say after the flight that after we prayed for her arthritis her legs are feeling much better!

She says that she is thankful for us, and is amazed of the circumstances that brought her to us.  Tammy said she coulnd't keep her eyes off her before we met, it was as if God wanted us to speak with her... And she ended out choosing to sit next to us.

That's a praise report!

So now we are in Bangkok.  I'm kind of unimpressed with our hotel, I wanted it to be really nice for Tammy for the 1st week before we started living as missionaries in Chon Buri.  But C'est la vi. We're near the US Consulate and rail system.  Which is what I wanted.  But I may change this place eventually.  I guess I'm spoiled.  We are planning to meet Pastor Tae and Fang on Thursday..
God bless!!!!
