a) We shared some powerful testimonies about what the Lord had done in our lives to the guide Tana. He's a nice man. He is a father of a daughter who has won awards in ballet. He is a kind man with high morals. He knows alot of his culture and his land. I respectfully told him how much I admired the Thai people. We listened to a lot of the incredible stories of the kings of thailand, as well as the thai faith in Buddhism.
I shared with him stories of God's protection and His angels interacting with our own and friends' lives. He was amazed. We shared how their has to be a God who created material matter, and stories of DNA has greater evidence of intelligent design than a laptop computer. He agreed wholeheartedly. Most of the stories shared on our side happened in the first 30 minutes of the ride. Then we shut up and let him do the talking for the trip. At the end we gave him a really good tip in thai standards ($10), and he and the driver were so very happy when they left. You know that kind of tip goes a very long way in thailand. We shared with him a christian tract for Peace with God, sharing the Gospel of Jesus Christ. We told him if he is interested in knowing what Jesus taught, please read. I'm sure he'll read it, the man was a walking encylopedia of information. Would you please pray that the information makes it from his brain, and into his heart. In John 6:44, Jesus says No one can come to me unless the Father who sent me draws him, and I will raise him up at the last day.
b) Please pray for MarN who is a thai man who helps with the tourism desk.
