Monday... First base.

Today Tammy stayed at the hotel recovering from her upset stomach after taking in something that didn't agree with her.

I had to run to Greater Grace to scope out the living quarters which we will be staying at.  AFter praying and seeking the Lord's peace regarding possible plans, our friends from Greater Grace called and informed us of either an apartment or hotel we can stay at for a short time, close to their church.  Tae and Fang said that we are free to choose to stay in bangkok for 2-3 weeks or for how long we wish, before coming to work in Chon Buri.  We had such a great time with the friends in Bangkok that we met on Sunday, and it would take several days for them to finish the DVD's we are sharing with them.  So we figure we could stick around a little bit longer.

Today I visited our friends at Greater Grace Church in Bangkok and have decided to spend 1 week with them, as they are preparing the DVD's we are sharing with them for their Bible class.  We will be staying near their church in a hotel for $30/night.  We will attend their classes at night.  They have a few outreaches planned on Friday and Saturday, and we will attend their fellowship on Sunday.

During the day we are free to visit the church where they have instruments we can play on, and we can chat with Noom, the coffee house owner who works for the church.

I spoke with Fang, and we will be visiting them tomorrow (Tuesday), and paying for future lodging next to the church, where the ice cream shop will be.  We are really looking forward to finally seeing them!

Please pray for more opportunities to share the Gospel.  I shared with an Ethiopian man today.  The Lord was giving me words for him, but I think He did not receive it.  My prayer is that he gets it later.
Please pray for Tammy's upset stomach.  We have medicine from the pharmacy and we are drinking bottled water.  She's having a hard time eating, but we have fruit, vegetable, and a bit of crackers and rice.  It's a hard time and discouraging couple days for Tammy who has been bed ridden.  She was much better today, but she was feeling too weak to go out for any extended time.  Pray she has the strength for the long trek to Chon Buri tomorrow.  Otherwise, she will just stay at the hotel we are checking into.

We're not discouraged from believing God for answering prayers for healing.  We have seen so many miracles after people pray for others to get better.  Miracles that defy science.  Why can't God heal upset stomachs?  He can!  Why not yet, why not immediate in this case?  I don't know.  I wish I did.
