Arrived in Cambodia safelly. BUMPY ROADS all the way to the border, hardly had any sleep! Tammy and I just have stayed at the nice hotel that the immigration folks setup for us. I don't feel like walking around here. But we're safely to the town BANKAPPAD.
Cambodia is the place documented in the famous movie the Killing Fields. It's a place that is changing and improving, but has been scarred by the past.
Just as many have been scarred by their poor choice in life, God can create a new life for this land. We have friends that serve faithfully here, but we are not called to be here at this country.
On our way over here we met a couple Filipina Christian ladies who are missionaries. We enjoyed their company and the laughs they brought us. We were all able to laugh about our inability to speak Thai. This lady Maryann actually can speak more than a handful of languages, she picks the languages up so quickly. But thai, she gave up on! Oh well, I guess we're not the only ones having issues with the language!
