Today we had a productive day with plenty of fun. We went to see the cofee shop guys Dao and VJ, and Dao wanted to take us to a special seafood restaurant. So we hopped in the car and went. During the time we talked more about life, and eventually we shared on how I proposed to Tammy. The story had a few small miracles involved, but we're not sure if she really sees it, or whether it was just dumb luck what happened. Either way, it was a good time to spend with her and build relationships with her.
Tammy went back to do some laundry. It's impolite to give underwear to the laundry lady, so she did a load at the church.
I went up to the University to work on the END TIMES poster, and research the scriptures to place on the poster, and copy the thai translation from my software.
Then we left for a party for Ploy and Samlan's birthdays. We had a great time with many people from the church, as a family. Tammy was making everyone laugh, dancing. Everyone was laughing at Fang making fun of me talking too much, and never letting Tammy speak! Tammy says she doesn't mind me blabbering alot at all. (she worries when i don't say anything)
Then a man came by all drunk to talk to me and Tammy. He looked like an old pervert with a weird "aura" around him...in other ways I don't doubt at all he had some demonic oppression, given the aggressive nature he had, the weird facial contortion, and the battle within him to try to focus on me as Elder Whoot and I tried to share with him the Gospel.. He kept looking back at his whiskey saying he wants to get rid of the habit, but yet wouldn't shut up long enough to receive the truth that would set him free. So I said let's pray right now, forget sharing the gospel right now, we need to get rid of and take authority over the darkness that is clouding him. Sure enough when we did that, and prayed aloud actually addressing the evil around that man telling it to leave right then, citing the authority we have over it that Jesus promised in the bible, the man was more functional. He actually got up right after that, took a small taste of the whiskey, and then went across the street and poured it out. He came back and just prayed more for him. He kept shaking my hand and grabbing my arm, saying "good" thumbs up. We asked him if he wanted the new life, he said YES.... I said ok, we're coming back tomorrow at 4pm to visit there anyway, we'll see him, and Pastor Tae can lead him to the new life.
I thank God because actually right before he came over, I wanted to pray for the young boy who came to the party that was in the drug rehab, but instead this older man came by and we dealt with another person who is in bondage. Please pray for this meeting we will have with him tomorrow.
Please pray for Jongyoot, Tae, and I. We have some issues with the water system planned. We need wisdom and special care on how we design, integrate. and operate the system once it is built. They do things differently here, and over here, I'll need to be wearing many hats in order to be the expert Tae really needs to help him thru things. I think he's really going to need me to learn the different ways Jongyoot does things. Lastly we need financial support. We are praying for another $2000 to come in by October 10th. Please get the word out and see if anyone would like to help.
Lastly, please pray for my dear sister who was diagnosed with something that affects her body and causes pain, discomfort, and degeneration. The doctor says there's no real cure for it, just a bunch of pain killers given to her. But what does he know? God knows all, and can heal all!
God bless!!!
Alex
