Saturday

Had a pretty productive day.  Tammy did a good job teaching the kids in the morning. Some of them weren't paying attention or trying hard enough to learn.  Those kids got scolded by the Pastor's wife Fang.  They were goofing off and just not into it (some of the kids, others did well).  Word was they were very hungry, and came to the class w/o eating properly, or taking the time to do so.  We still love them though.  Tae and Fang are slowing down the schedule a bit for us, as they really are go getters, but it seems we're not yet acclimated to that yet.

I spent quite a bit of time preparing for the class I'm teaching Sunday morning.  I'm hopeful someone is there, because it's one of the more powerful classes they are going to get which radically changes lives- the Topic is in John 14, and throughout the following chapters into Acts.  Please pray for that time to be a special one where there are students making it on time.  I went thru great lengths to try my best to use the thai dictionary to translate the lesson plan copied from the Calvary Chapel Discipleship manual that I went through, and that I brought Tammy through.  The grammar I used is not what it should be, but the words are all there for me to pick and choose from should the students not understand the english I share.

We met up with our friends at the coffee shop, and they are shutting down the store next week to find a hair salon business to adjoin to their cofee shop.  We also met a guy named Dai who had a lot of questions about 911 and the whole thing with the Jews and Islam.  So we gave him a taste of the bible, and he is in suspense because we had to stop when everything was about to get really good.  So I'm sure we'll see him soon.  He runs a car rental place nearby.

Tomorrow is a long day.  Two church services, and two different places.
Prayer?  More discipline to wake up, pray, exercise, eat better.  Discipline to study the language.  A routine.
Prayer for donations to eventually to come in for the Reverse Osmosis system planned.  Hydranautics will offer membranes for Tae.  We need to get some multimedia filters.
Prayer for the people we meet, and that they can find the time to take the english classes or bible classes.
