It was a good church service today. Our friend Sohn's mother came and shared her testimony which was very powerful. It was how she was an alcoholic buddhist that wanted nothing to do with Jesus until her husband was struck down unconscious, and looked as if he would be dead. Then she decided to give Jesus a try, and she prayed to Him. Her hands got hot and she layed her hands on her husband, and boom! He woke up in the hospital! Later she went back to hitting the bottle but the Lord disciplined her by hurting her arm, so she lost motion...then she prayed to her friends' gods at their urging but nothing happend. She prayed to Jesus and BOOM! Her arm got better instantly! Wow! She said she was going to give her life to Christ at that point forward!

I was excused from having to teach English today. I didn't care, I wanted to relax anyways. I was however given the opportunity to teach 3 teen today. It was slow. The devil caused a terrible accident to Brite, his foot was bleeding really bad right before bible study, and i was depending on him to be my translator. We started slow, but when I started just giving short words and pointing to the thai bible, then they got the point. I tried to share a powerful video of Jesus but the language was too fast they said. The pictures were captivating though. Please pray further for a translator! I feel we are so less ineffective, and our ability to minister is SEVERELY hindered until we get this. When we go with Tae on his trips to disciple, it is fantastic, but when we are alone, outside of the times in the cofee shop with VJ and Dao, it really sucks.
We're trying our best to learn thai, and are being faithful, but time is of the essence for us. We have so much to share and teach, and there are so many needs here. These people, outside of Jesus, will perish in their sins. My heart literally weeps when I think about it. There could be so much indifference regarding the Gospel, unless you build relationships and they trust you.
Later the church men got to work and constructed the more powerful radio station that will broadcast christian news/sermons/music. It was a great day for the church. Elder Wuud put together the black and blue lights we will use. The place is starting to look cooler. The teens and kids loved it. I hope it superficially draws people to the ice cream shop so that we can build relationship.

Tammy had fun playing ping pong. She really can entertain the kids. She bought the stuff at the $2 store. It was a load of fun. They also made stuff with balloons, because one of the kids' birthday was today. Actually several birthdays!
Big party! the church threw a fiesta and we used our porch/balcony. It was so nice to use this place for the Lord.
We are off now. It's 11pm, and in a couple hours we'll be riding off to cambodia to get our 60 day tourist visa for thailand.
God bless,
Alex
