Saturday

Today Tammy taught a couple more english classes...She made the kids laugh more.  The kids were kind of tired so Tammy had them do jumping jacks and run around!  She told them to GET UP!  and she ran over there and made them get their circulation going and told them to sit down, get up, sit down...She did kicks to make people laugh and feel more energetic.  She's so funny!

I practiced with the worship band for a couple hours.

Please pray for a man named Ted we had witnessed to.  He was pleasantly surprised to hear us call.  We hooked him up with friends from Greater Grace that do outreaches in his area.

We are kind of changing the plan to get the visa.  We found there's a service that will take christians to the border, and get them 60 day tourist visas.  After the party tomorrow we will make the trek to Bangkok.  From there we will go to a border town in Cambodia, and stay in a hotel.  The ride is 3.5 hours.  But we'll leave at 2am!  It's that or we take a 9 hour trip one way, and i'd rather not!

The immigration service costs us essentially $300 for the ride for tammy and I, the hotel, and to cover the visa immigration fees.  Our friend Elder Wuudd has a cousin working in the USA Embassy in Thailand, and he said that's not bad price at all!  So that $300 covers both tammy and I.  Good news is that now if we go to the border after the 60 days, we'll get another 2 months.  But PI is on the schedule.

I'm not sure what the border town is in Cambodia for this service, it might be Poipet.  But the phone number for the organization that will be taking us to the border and arranging the visa  is + 66 89 024 5255.  The contact is Phillip.  Our friends from Greater Grace Church (Ryan) hooked us up with these guys.  Remember the + is the symbol for the code used in your country to get to the part of the phone number which is the country code...i think in usa it is either 001 or 011  something like that.  But 66 is the country code for Thailand.

Sunday, I'll have the honor of helping the worship team lead the congregation in song and prayer.  I will also have the honor of teaching a couple troubled teens and if the Lord allows, 3 other university students.  I hope.  I wish we could bear a lot of fruit here.  We have a translator that will help us teach 1 factory worker tomorrow.  I feel kind of stupid just teaching 1 person, but I'll be faithful with that.  God says those who are faithful with little with be faithful with a lot.

Elder Wuud and the gang will help us set up the electrical wiring and install the cool lighting systems we have to make the place really a cool hangout so we can bring students in.  Monday the ice cream lady is supposed to start coming on a regular basis.
