THURSDAY

Had a great day with Sakchai at the Prophesy Conference.  Met many of his friends from Tyndale Publishing Company/University Programs.  Had a chance to enjoy lunch with the President, Christopher Cone.  He is a humble man who was very encouraging and engaging.

He covered a lot of scriptures stretching from Genesis to Revelation, speaking of the judgments the Lord has had on His believers and unbelievers throughout the past, the present, and in the future.  It was a sobering thought to see the cycle of Israel....  The point is God is Holy, Holy, Holy.  He takes sin very seriously.  He JUDGES sin righteously, and sometimes with very abrupt and sharp actions.  Fear of the Lord is the beginning of wisdom.  But even with the judgments, He is MERCIFUL, and with the judgment shows mercy.

It was a very good study which makes you realize how much you've been forgiven of when you ask Jesus to be the one who bears your punishment...but also very sobering to know that even as a believer in Christ, there are some judgments you will have to endure due to sin.

Back in Chon Buri now.  Please pray that Tammy and I can start our days with quiet time with the Lord, and enjoy time with Him in His Word.

Please pray for blessings to come to Sakchai and his wife Jin.  They were so very kind and gracious to us.  He paid for everything, and treated us like royalty, and blessed us by introducing us to the conference and the speakers.  He did a great job as the translator for Mr. Cone!

Thanks!

Alex
